Evonne Marie Godbout

Evonne Marie Godbout, 66, of Brownsdale, MN passed away due to a sudden illness at Mayo Clinic Hospital St. Mary’s Campus on September 9, 2024.

Evonne was born on July 29, 1958, the daughter of Richard and Barbara (Bray) Kime in Austin, MN.  Evonne graduated from Carlton High School in Carlton MN in 1976.  She was united in marriage to Mark Godbout on April 23, 1977, in Carlton, MN.  After she retired from the Mayo Clinic in Neurology, she later worked for Greenway Coop and then for Lohn’s Grocery in Brownsdale.  She also helped her husband with lawn care and his excavating business.  Evonne enjoyed scrapbooking, flowers, coloring, reading and the love for her dogs, Izzy and Pebbles.

Evonne is survived by her husband, Mark Godbout; children, Dale Godbout, Aaron (Becky Fossum) Godbout, Tiffany (Robert) Gerhart; six grandchildren and one great grandson; special friends, Bruce and Becky Fossum; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and son, Nathan.

A family gathering will be held at a later date up North.   Blessed be her memory.
