FRANCES "FINNY" RUTH GASMAN

The funeral service for Frances "Finny" Ruth Gasman will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 26, 2011 at West St. Olaf Lutheran Church, 70640 260th Avenue Hayfield, Minnesota with Reverend Darby Lawrence officiating. Interment will be in West St. Olaf Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Frances Ruth Gasman, 92, passed away on February 20, 2011, at Field Crest Care Center in Hayfield, MN.
Frances Ruth Falch was born on June 2, 1918, the daughter of Dilert and Clara (Evenson) Falch in Hayfield, MN. She was united in marriage to Roy Gasman on May 30, 1941, at West St. Olaf Lutheran Church. She was an active member of the Central Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. Frances moved to Austin, MN in 1994. She enjoyed gardening, reading books, walking and bird watching. Frances was a member of Women's Guild.
Frances "Finny" is survived by her three children, Ronald (Deborah) Gasman, Minneapolis, MN; Thomas Gasman, Brooklyn Center, MN; Gregory (Kay) Gasman, LaPorte, MN; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one sister, Elina Senjem, Hayfield, MN; and one brother, Stanley Falch, Brownsdale, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, Lyla & Delia, one brother, Leland.
Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church on Saturday, February 26, 2011.
Czaplewski Family Funeral Home in Hayfield is in charge of arrangements.
