FRANCES RUTH SCHARBERG

The funeral service for Frances Ruth Scharberg will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 25, 2013, at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 411 West Main Street, Brownsdale, MN with visitation one hour before the service at the church. Interment will be in Garness Cemetery in Mabel, MN.

Frances Ruth Scharberg, 87, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2013, at her home in Brownsdale.
Frances was born the daughter of Harry C. and Frances (Bremseth) Inglett in Prosper, MN. She graduated from high school. Frances was united in marriage to Loren Johnson, January 20, 1945 in LaCrosse, WI. He died on May 3, 1969. She married Aden Scharberg on December 28, 1971, in Harmony, MN and he died on October 1, 1979. She lived in Prosper until moving to Brownsdale area in 1971, and into Mill Street Apartments in 1983. Frances worked at Lohn's Fairway in Brownsdale for 10 years. She served on the Evanger Lutheran Church Board and a number of years on the Altar Society.


Frances is survived by step son, Hilmen (Bev) Scharberg, Rochester, MN; step daughter, Sharon Max, Mitchell, SD; three step grandchildren, six step great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; three brothers and two sisters.

Czaplewski Family Funeral Home in Brownsdale is in charge of arrangements.
