Georgena Linbo

Georgena May Linbo, 70, of Hayfield, MN passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2019, at Seasons Hospice House in Rochester, MN.

Georgena was born on September 10, 1948, the daughter of George and Irene (DesCombaz) Norman in Austin, MN. She graduated from Austin High School in 1966, and went to Cosmetology School in Austin. She was united in marriage to Kevin Linbo on June 13, 1981.

Georgena did Day Care in her home for over 25 years. She enjoyed going to their cabin at Shell Lake, Wisconsin and spending time with her grandchildren, friends and family.

Georgena is survived by her husband, Kevin Linbo, Hayfield, MN; children, Gretchen Linbo (Jeff) Becker, Garrison and Maxwell, Dodge Center, MN; Katie Linbo (Brian) Coleman, Abe and Iris, Kasson, MN; sisters, Judy Norman Low, Franklin, KY; Kathy Norman Berg, New Richland, MN; Mary Ann Norman Schlaak, New Richland, MN; 22 nephews and nieces; 59 great nephews and nieces; 3 great-great nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Irene Norman; sister and brother-in-law, Delores and Roy Dyke; brother-in-law, Stan Berg; father and mother-in-law, John & LaVaine Linbo; brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Cindy Linbo.

Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2019, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Home, 501 2 ^nd Street NW in Hayfield with a Sharing of Memories at 7:30 p.m. There will be a visitation at the church one hour before the service.

The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2019, at Evanger Lutheran Church, 33554 660 ^th Avenue, Sargeant, MN with Reverend Paul Welke officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
