The funeral for Harry W. Stebbins will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at the Dodge Center United Methodist Church with Rev. Michelle Miller officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Dodge Center, MN.
Harry W Stebbins 92, of Dodge Center passed away Friday, June 12, 2009, at Fairview Care Center in Dodge Center.
Harry Wayne Stebbins was born March 20, 1917, in Ashland Township, the son of Harry N. and Berenice (Daggett) Stebbins. He attended school in Ashland Township. Harry was united in marriage to Margaret A. Stivers on January 7, 1945. He was a lifelong resident of Dodge Center and worked for Cuttings Nursery in Byron, MN, Anderson Canning Company, Dodge Center, MN Gandy’s Manufacturing Company, Owatonna, MN and Kasson Grain Elevator in Kasson, MN.
Harry enjoyed spending time with family and friends, short road trips, and being with his beloved dog, Buddy.
Harry is survived by his daughter, Kathy Peterson, Kasson, MN; a stepson James (Joyce) Stivers, Kasson, MN; daughter-in-law, Margaret (Peggy) Stebbins, Rochester, MN; 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Margaret; son, Larry; 2 sisters and 4 brothers.
Visitation will be one hour before the service at the Dodge Center United Methodist Church on Tuesday, June 16, 2009. Czaplewski Family Funeral Home in Dodge Center will be in charge of arrangements.
