HARVEY DONALD MILLER

The memorial service for Harvey Donald Miller will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 29, 2011, at Pleasant Corners United Methodist Church, 21927 650th Street, Kasson, MN, with Reverend Karen Seavey officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church on Saturday.
Harvey Donald Miller, 87, passed away on October 24, 2011, at Fairview Care Center in Dodge Center, MN.
Harvey Donald Miller was born on May 4, 1924, the son of Alfred and Emma (Boehm) Miller in Eagle Lake, MN. Harvey graduated from St. Clair School in 1941, and moved to Hayfield with his family. He was united in marriage to Mae Ferson on May 10, 1958. Harvey served in World War II from 1943 to 1946. He owned and operated Miller's TV Service from 1948 to 1965. He then joined IBM in 1965, and retired in 1987. Harvey enjoyed reading, woodworking, fishing, golfing, gardening, and was a sports fan of the Twins, Vikings, and Timberwolves.
Harvey is survived by his wife, Mae Miller, Dodge Center, MN; two daughters, Julie and Rhonda Miller, both of Savage, MN; one sister, Marcella Delzer, Missoula, MT; two sisters-in-law, Elaine Miller, Morristown, MN; and Gladys Miller, Fort Collins, CO. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister.
