James “Jim” Robert Mollert, 56, of Kasson, MN passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021, at Mayo Clinic Methodist Hospital in Rochester, MN.
Jim was born on February 2, 1965, in Rochester, MN to Robert and Nancy (Haines) Mollert. He served in the United States National Guard for nine years. He worked as a carpenter for many years, where Jim and his father built many houses together. He also owned his own siding business and worked at Hardware Hank in Kasson.
Jim enjoyed camping, fishing, playing pool and cribbage. He loved to watch the Minnesota Vikings and spending time with his dogs. He participated in the Freedom Walk in Kasson for seven years. He was a devoted husband and friend.
Jim is survived by his wife, Maryann “Mary” Mollert of Kasson, MN; stepson, Robert Mendenhall; siblings, Julie (Dan) Jensen and Sue (Bob) Conklin; nieces and nephews, Kayla Jensen Puent, Joey Jensen, Dusty Mollert, Allison Conklin, and Taylor Conklin; and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Tami (Dan) Ganz.
