The memorial service for James Carle Spencer will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August, 18, 2010, at the United Methodist Church, 102 Pleasant Street East in Brownsdale, MN with Reverend Dan Mayfield officiating. Inurnment will be in Grandview Cemetery in Austin at a later date.
James Carle Spencer, 37, died on Saturday, August 14, 2010, in Steele County, Minnesota.
James Carle Spencer was born on January 19, 1973, the son of James R. and Barbara (Wood) Spencer in Denver, CO. He graduated from Hayfield High School. He was united in marriage to Kimberly (Torling) Sarmiento on February 12, 2010. James worked in telephone sales at Charter Communications and Time Warner. He also worked as beekeeper for his uncle Nick. James was an avid sports fan, collecting baseball and football memorabilia. He enjoyed fishing and camping.
James is survived by his wife, Kimberly Spencer, Austin, MN; children, Nathan Burke, IA; Danielle Spencer, Mankato, MN; Aaden Spencer, MN; Noah Spencer, MN; step children, Tiffany Sarmiento, Austin, MN; Zach Sarmiento, Brownsdale, MN; Tara Sarmiento, Brownsdale, MN; Charles Sarmiento, Rochester, MN; Creg Sarmiento, Elgin, IL; five grandchildren; sister, Dawn Spencer, Austin, MN; and mother Barbara Spencer, Brownsdale, MN. He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents and two aunts.
Visitation will be 9:00-10:00 a.m. at the church on Wednesday, August 18, 2010. Czaplewski Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
