M. JEAN DUBE
The funeral service for Jean Dube will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2009, at the First Congregational Church in Dodge Center with Reverend Jean Boese officiating. Inurnment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Dodge Center, MN. Jean Dube 85, died Friday, morning April 24, 2009, at Rochester Methodist Hospital in Rochester, MN.
Mamie Jean Baudoin was born on September 8, 1923, the daughter of Francis John “Frank” and Pearle Maude (Elliot) Baudoin, in Hayfield, MN. Jean was united in marriage to John Dube on December 14, 1945, and he passed away on May 16, 1985. Jean was a member of the First Congregational Church, Women’s Fellowship, Esther Guild, a member of the ARC since the Dodge County ARC originated, was on the Dodge Country Club Board, and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary for 55 years. Jean enjoyed her family, as they were the center of her life. They shared many memories at the lake, playing cards, boating and fishing. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren playing high school and college sports. Jean also enjoyed visiting with her many friends sitting on her front porch, and more recently in the circle at her townhouse.
Jean is survived by her daughter, Diane (Reggie) Benson, Grand Meadow, MN; sons, Thomas (Joyce) Dube, Rochester, MN; Joel Dube, Dodge Center, MN; six grandchildren and families, Jason (Denise) Benson, Kyle and Joshua, Fernley NV; Cray (Tracy) Benson, Zachary, Jessica, Bryce and Blake, Grand Meadow, MN; Slone (Bryan) Suess, Peyton Jean, Mya and Easton, Mantorville, MN; Ryan (Stacy) Dube, Lincoln, and Matilda, Spring Valley, MN; Amanda Jean Dube, Rochester, MN; and John Dube, Rochester, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, April 27, 2009, at the Czaplewski Family Funeral Home in Dodge Center, MN and one hour before at the church on Tuesday.
