The funeral service for Jessica Marie Arnold will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 8, 2008, at Faith Lutheran Church in Dodge Center with Reverend Justin Boeding officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date at Watson Creek Cemetery in rural Fountain, MN.
Jessica Marie Arnold, 32, died Monday evening, November 3, 2008, at her home in Dodge Center, MN after a lengthy illness.
Jessica was born November 23, 1975, the daughter of Vincent and Ann (Spelhaug) Arnold in Rochester, MN. She attended Triton High School and graduated in 1994. She attended Inver Grove Hills Community College and Winona State University. She worked at St. David’s School in Hopkins, MN for one year and for Mayo Clinic in Employees Services for eight years until she was physically unable. She volunteered at the Charter House in Rochester. Jessica enjoyed camping, traveling, fishing, flowers, art projects, and shopping. Jessica loved people and her smile gladdened the hearts of many she met along the way.
Jessica is survived by her parents, Vincent and Ann Arnold, Dodge Center, MN; two brothers, Alan Arnold, Apple Valley, MN; Michael Arnold, Minneapolis, MN; maternal grandmother, Helene Spelhaug, Chatfield, MN; and paternal grandfather, Charles Arnold, Fountain, MN. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather and paternal grandmother.
Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2008, at the Czaplewski Family Funeral Home in Dodge Center, MN.
The family prefers memorials to Children’s Tumor Foundation (Neurofibromatosis Research) or Faith Lutheran Building Fund.
