JO ANN NOEL
Jo A. Noel, 79, of Edinburg, TX and formerly of Lake Ozark, MO, died Tuesday, September 27, 2016, at Mayo Clinic Hospital, St. Mary's Campus in Rochester, MN.
Jo was born on September 27, 1937, the daughter of William and Hazel (Gibbens) Blackwell in Tuscarawas, OH. She co-founded and co-owned Glencove Marina at the Lake of the Ozarks. Since her retirement she loved to travel with her husband, Barry in their RV and spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed stained glass, sewing, golf, yoga, and water volleyball.
She is survived by her five children, Laurel (Scot) Bjornson, Hayfield, MN; Cheri (Tony) Middendorf, New Bloomfield; Tambra Galarnyk, St. Louis; James Moore, Jefferson City; John (Marla) Moore, St. Thomas; ten grandchildren, Haley Middendorf, Gavin Middendorf, Logan Moore, Cassidy Moore, Madison Moore, Anikka Bjornson, Mason Galarnyk, Corryn Bjornson, Sjon Bjornson, Jaiden Moore; brothers, Floyd (Beth) Blackwell, Cornelius, NC; Don (Barb) Blackwell, LaVerne, CA; Pat (Wendy) Blackwell, Universal City, TX; and sister-in-law Dana Opie, Jefferson City. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Barry; two sisters, Nedra Baron and Myrna Moore.
Private family service will be held at a later date.
