Joann Tiegen

JoAnn Elizabeth Tiegen, 80, of Oslo, MN passed away on April 23 ^rd , 2022, at Field Crest Care Center in Hayfield.

JoAnn was born on May 20 ^th , 1941, the daughter of David and Ester (Moore) Williams in Austin, MN.  JoAnn was baptized, confirmed in the Catholic faith and later became member of the West St. Olaf Lutheran church.  She graduated from Hayfield High School in 1959.  She was united in marriage to Dale Tiegen on September 30, 1961.  JoAnn worked at IBM for a while after High School, later worked at Flowers by Jerry and finally worked alongside Dale running the Oslo Store.

She enjoyed gardening, flowers, campfires, a little E&J and traveling across the country in the RV.  JoAnn loved to spend time with her friends, family, and grandchildren.

JoAnn is survived by son, Gregg (Gwenda) Tiegen and children Gunnar, Greta and Greer Tiegen of Byron, MN; son, Eric (Lori) Tiegen and children Brittany, Gabrielle and Jacob Tiegen of Stacy, MN; and great grandchildren, Karder Belle and Maverick; son-in-law, Kevin Miller and children Logan, Lindsay and Lane Miller of Brownton, MN; sister, Beverly Bahr of Pittsburgh, PA; brother, Charlie Williams of Waltham, MN.  She was proceeded in death by her parents, husband Dale, daughter Brenda, son Jason, brother, Raymond brother-in-law Larry, and sister-in-law Judy.

Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 27 ^th , 2022, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 2 ^nd Street NW in Hayfield and one hour before the service at the church on Thursday.

The funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 28 ^th , 2022, at West St. Olaf Lutheran Church 70640 ~ 260 ^th Avenue, Hayfield, MN.  Interment will be in West St. Olaf Lutheran Cemetery.
