JOYCE LORRAINE LANGWORTHY
Joyce Lorraine Langworthy (86), of Dodge Center, MN, died on Thursday, June 14, 2012, at Fairview Care Center, Dodge Center, MN. Joyce was born March 7, 1926, at home in Claremont Township to William and Katherine (Thomas) Phelps. Joyce attended Dodge Center High School and was married to Roy Langworthy on November 22, 1943. Joyce was a Farm Wife, Home Maker, and Mother. She was part of the Ladies Aid, the Harmony Busy Bees, the Gideon’s International Auxiliary, the 6H Club, and a member of Praise Fellowship Church. Her interests were in Gardening and Knitting.
Joyce is survived by her husband, Roy Langworthy; 1 brother, Edward Phelps of Kasson, MN; her children Lois (Duane) Pederson of New Auburn, WI; Loretta (Ted) Neher, of Kasson, MN; Randy (Nadine) Langworthy of Dodge Center, MN and Roger (Melanie) Langworthy of Dodge Center, MN; Eleven Grandchildren and twenty-five Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 1 son, Glen Roy Langworthy, 2 brothers, Leonard and Frederick Phelps; and 1 sister, Myrtle (Raymond) Dengler.
Services include a Visitation on Wednesday, June 27, from 5:00–8:00 p.m. at Praise Fellowship Church, 602 Central Ave South, Dodge Center, a Funeral Service on Thursday, June 28, at 1:00 p.m. at Praise Fellowship Church, with interment at Riverside Cemetery, Dodge Center, and a time of refreshments at Praise Fellowship Church following the services. Czaplewski Family Funeral Home in Hayfield assisted with arrangements.
