Joyce Ann Stivers

Joyce Ann Stivers, 91, of Kasson, MN passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at Mayo Clinic St. Mary’s Campus in Rochester, MN.

Joyce was born on July 30, 1935, in Frankford Township, Mower County, MN, the third child of John and Eleanor (Monette) Renken.

Joyce graduated Dodge Center High School in 1953. She married James Stivers in June of 1956. She worked at Neisner Brothers in the Miracle Mile Shopping Center for 16 years and for a natural gas company for 22 years. She retired in 1995.

Joyce loved her pets, working in her garden, reading, and bird watching.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a sister, Jeanette; and two brothers, Joseph and John.

Joyce is survived by her sister-in-law’s, Kathy Peterson of Kasson, MN and Peggy Stebbins of Rochester, MN; nieces and nephews.

Per Joyce’s wishes, there will be no services held. Memorials are preferred to Paws and Claws, 3224 19th St NW, Rochester, MN 55901.
