Juanita Dawn Klickman, 86, of Kasson, MN passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Mayo Clinic Saint Mary’s Campus in Rochester, MN.
Juanita was born on November 30, 1933 in Granite Falls, NC to George and Violet (Wallace) Wilson. She married John Klickman on July 27, 1957 in Portsmouth, VA. They were married for 63 years and together they had six children.
Juanita worked as an Admitting Officer for Mayo Clinic for 48 years before she retired in 2011. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Kasson where she served as a Sunday school teacher, ARK leader, President of the Ladies Circle and a Music committee member for many, many years. Juanita was a kind, gentle and loving person who enjoyed music, flowers, birds, and other small furry critters who often came to visit her while she sat outside soaking in God’s wonderful creation. She especially loved it while sharing it with family and friends.
Juanita is survived by her husband, John Klickman of Kasson, MN; children, Steven Klickman of Thornton, CO, Lisa Klickman of Lone Tree, CO, Ann Klickman of Kasson, MN, Mike (Amy) Klickman of Longmont, CO, and David Klickman of Milford, IA; eleven grandchildren; and sister, Ruby (Frank) Comberiati of Portsmouth, VA and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Phillip, sister, Edith, and brother, George (Sonny) Jr.
Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, August 3, 2020 at Czaplewski Family Funeral Homes, 801 7th St SE in Kasson and one hour prior to the service at the church Tuesday. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at First Baptist Church, 304 4th St NW in Kasson, MN, with Pastor John Todor officiating. Interment will be at Wildwood Cemetery in Wasioja, MN. Due to the current health concerns and restrictions, please respect social distancing and the wearing of face masks both at the visitation and funeral.
