Judith Ann Williams, 71, of Waltham passed away on Monday, October 7, 2019 at her home after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Judy was born February 27, 1948 in Austin, MN to Clarence and Margaret (Skinner) Johnson. She was a graduate of Pacelli High School in Austin. On October 27, 1966, she married Charles Williams. Judy owned and operated her own cleaning service. She was a member and past President of the Hayfield American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and served on the Waltham Booster Club. Judy and Charles enjoyed traveling together, especially to one of her favorite places, Deadwood, SD. She also enjoyed flowers, gardening, counted cross stich and sitting around the fire visiting with friends and family. Judy was a fun loving, a kind and giving woman. She was a great listener and enjoyed hearing all about other people’s lives. She was a devoted wife and mother.
Judy is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Charles; son, Michael (Christine) Williams of Coon Rapids, MN; grandson, Alex; sisters, Ann (Tom) Braverman of Montana, Linda (Mike) Miller of North Mankato, MN, Rebecca (Kevin) Driscoll of Waterville, MN, Suzanne (Eugene) Leckness of Hayfield, MN; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Margaret.
A celebration of Judy’s life will be held 5:00 p.m. Saturday, October 12, 2019 at the Hayfield American Legion Post 330, 7 East Main St. Hayfield, MN 55940. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until time of the celebration. A private family burial will take place at Waltham Cemetery.
