Judy Ann Barth

Judy Ann Barth, 79, of Byron, MN passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Mayo Clinic St. Mary’s Campus in Rochester, MN, surrounded by her family. Judy was born on February 11, 1947, in Olmsted County, MN to Raymond and Alice (Vangness) Warehime. She attended country school and later graduated from Pine Island High School in 1965. She married Raymond Ronningen on March 12, 1966, and the couple later divorced. On August 17, 1985, she married Wayne Barth.

Judy worked various jobs throughout her life, some of which included selling Avon products and working as a clerk for Hardware Hank in Kasson for 30 years. She enjoyed reading, listening to music (the 80’s) and going to karaoke to hear her daughters sing. Sometimes, she would even join in. She never missed an opportunity to brighten someone’s day with a card to let them know she was thinking of them. Those treasured cards will remain lasting reminders of her caring heart. She also had a gentle heart and a deep love for animals, extending her kindness and compassion to every creature she met. Above all, her greatest joy was her family. She expressed her love in countless thoughtful ways, especially by baking them their favorite treats for family gatherings, which created many cherished memories. Her warmth and generosity will forever be remembered by all who knew her.

Judy is survived by her loving husband, Wayne Barth of Byron, MN; daughters, Marianne Sobek (Brian Trygstad) of Kasson, MN and Cindy Ronningen (Kelly Nygaard) of Wanamingo, MN; step-children, Tammy Markham of Pine Island, MN, Kim (Keith) Hickey of Byron, MN, Kelley (Ron) Rolfson of Pine Island, MN, and Erik Barth (Cheryl Nicolas) of Fort Myers Florida; sister-in-law, Helene Yngsdal of Kasson, MN; 2 grandchildren, Danielle McKenzie and Meaghan (Terence) Hudalla; and 4 great-grandchildren, Madyson, Dominick, Jaxson, and Esmae; her special goddaughter, Jessica Ronningen; many step grandchildren and great-grandchildren and 5 nieces and 1 nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Gerald Warehime; son-in-law, Jary Sobek; and step-son-in-law, Kenneth Markham.
