The funeral mass for Julie Ann Vihnicka will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2016, at St. John Baptist De La Salle Catholic Church, 20 ~ 2nd Street NE, Dodge Center, MN with Father Thien Nguyen celebrating. Inurnment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Dodge Center.
Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, August 8, 2016, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Home, 25 South Street SW in Dodge Center with a Rosary at 7:30 p.m.
Julie Ann Vihnicka, 63, of Dodge Center passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2016, at Mayo Clinic St. Mary's Campus, Rochester, MN after a short illness.
Julie was born on July 14, 1953, the daughter of Anne Vihnicka in Owatonna, MN. She graduated from Dodge Center High School in 1971. Julie worked until the time of her illness at Assisi Heights in Housekeeping for 44 years. She was active in the church, enjoyed gardening and the outdoors.
Julie is survived by her aunts, Josephine Hughes, Rochester, MN; Alice Vihnicka, Dodge Center, MN; and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother. The family would like to express their gratitude for the great care and kindness shown to Julie by the medical staff of Mary Brigh and Domitilla during her stay at St. Mary's and to the sisters at Assisi Heights.
