JUNE BOWMAN

The funeral service for June Bowman will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2014, at the United Methodist Church 20 ~ 1st Street & 1s Avenue NE in Dodge Center with Reverend Dave Westlake officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 1:00-3:00 p.m.

June Bowman, 62, of Dodge Center, died Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at her home unexpectedly of natural causes.

June was born on June 11, 1951, to Joseph and Clara (Andrewjeski) Nitek in Ladysmith, WI.   She married Thomas Bowman on July 2, 1973. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, her family, fishing up north, spending time in the garden, and watching her wildlife. Her family and friends were the joy of her life.

June is survived by her loving husband, Thomas of 40 years; daughter, Kelly (Chad) Amunrud, Dodge Center, MN; son, Keith (Anjie) Bowman, Rochester, MN; sisters-in-law, Joanne Wetzstein, Kenyon, MN; Linda Bowman, Dodge Center, MN; Julie Bowman, Dodge Center, MN; and brother-in-law, Bob Bowman, Dodge Center, MN; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Earl (Shirley) Bowman, Dodge Center, MN; five grandchildren, Tyler, Ana, Austin, Zayne, and Brianna; two sisters, Josephine Hemm, Arizona; Margaret Burmeister, Colorado; and several nieces and nephews. June was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Richard and Kenny; and one brother-in-law, John. Czaplewski Family Funeral Home in Dodge Center assisted with arrangements.
