Karen Jo Paschke

Karen Jo Paschke, 55, of Kasson, MN passed away on Monday, May 22, 2023, at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Rochester, MN. She was surrounded by her husband and children.

Karen was born on February 19, 1968, in Winona, MN to Allyn “Big Al” and Shirley (Cummings) Schossow. Karen married her husband Jeff Paschke on June 20, 1992.

Karen spent the last two decades serving the Kasson community as a banker at Bremer Bank. She was known to greet customers each day with a welcoming smile. Karen loved spending time with her family every Sunday for Family Dinners. She also loved getting out on her Harley Davidson trike “Stella” and enjoying the beautiful Minnesota scenery.

Karen is survived by her husband, Jeff; children, Josie (Isaiah) Finger of West Concord, Sumner (Mikayla) Paschke of Kasson; mother, Shirley (Cummings) Schossow of Lewiston; four brothers, Harold (Bonnie) of Perham, MN, David of Detroit Lakes, Scott of Chicago, Todd (Heather) of Chicago; three sisters, Penny (Tom) Kessler of Lewiston, Susan (Steven) Halter of Rochester, Lisa (Michael) Stangler of St. Charles; her kitties, Simba and Eduardo; and her “fur-grandchildren”, Roxy, Rose, Millie, and Augustus.

She was preceded in death by her father, Allyn; three brothers, Dennis, Paul, and Richard; her niece, Brooke and great-nephew, Logan.

A funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 27, 2023, at Grace Lutheran Church, 404 Central Ave N Dodge Center, MN with Reverend Elliott Malm officiating.  A visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2023, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Homes, 801 7th St SE Kasson, MN and one hour prior to the service at the church.  Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Dodge Center, MN.
