The funeral service for Katherine Lee Iverson will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 22, 2014, at the First Congregational Church, 12 ~ 2nd Street NW in Dodge Center, MN with Reverend Dan Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Dodge Center.
Friends and family may call from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at the Czaplewski Family Funeral Home, 25 South Street SW in Dodge Center, MN and one hour before the service at the church on Thursday.
Katherine Lee Iverson, 56, passed away on May 18, 2014, after a short battle with cancer, at her son's home in Dodge Center.
Katherine was born on November 9, 1957, the daughter of Kenneth and Aurora (Beatima) Herschley, in Dodge Center, MN.
Katherine grew up in Dodge Center and worked at IBM in Rochester and OTC in Owatonna. She was united in marriage to Eddie Iverson and later divorced. Katherine resided with John Rand for several years in Claremont where she raised her two sons. She enjoyed traveling, bike rides, collecting antiques and spending time with her grandchildren.
Katherine is survived by her sons, Jason Iverson; Eric (Sammie) Iverson, both of Dodge Center, MN; mother, Aurora Herschley, Dodge Center, MN; 10 grandchildren; one brother, Robert (Thelma) McHenry, San Diego, CA; two sisters, Marilyn Edwards, Stewartville, MN; and Debra Pflaum, Northfield, MN. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth; sister, Gail Kraemer; Eddie Iverson; John Rand; and Walter, Hartman.
