Kathy Jo Weisinger

Kathy Jo Weisinger, 62, of Kasson, MN passed away unexpectedly in her sleep on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at her home.

Kathy was born on May 23, 1963, to Carolyn Larson and Russell Wachter. She married Joe Weisinger on May 17, 2003.

Kathy was a loving wife, sister, daughter, and friend to many. She was a very kind and caring person with a true heart of gold. Always there to help anyone with never being asked. She enjoyed the outdoors, from riding horses when she was younger to fishing, gardening, and pool time as an adult. Her passions were many including animals, the Green Bay Packers, playing dice games, making sweet treats, and gambling.

Kathy worked a variety of jobs from managing a gas station, working at banks, and most recently at Culligan where she retired in 2025.

Kathy is survived by her husband of 22 years, Joe Weisinger; their sweet and sassy corgi, Piper; mother, Carolyn Larson; siblings, Deanna Wachter, Connie (Jerry) Vesbach, Angie (Jeff) Swenson, Becky (Bill Dodd) Scholtec, Raymond Wachter; stepsister, JoAnne Hardick; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Russell Wachter; stepfather, Arthur Larson; and grandparents.

You touched the lives and hearts of many and will be greatly missed by all.

A celebration of life will be held from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Homes, 801 7th St SE in Kasson, MN. A prayer service will begin at 2:45 p.m. with Pastor Amy Anderson officiating.  Kathy loved animals, in lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the pet charity of your choice.
