Keith Robert Anderson, 77, of Kasson, MN passed away at Mayo Clinic Hospital St. Mary's Campus in Rochester, MN.
Keith was born on January 28, 1938, the son of Alton and Alma (Fleener) Anderson in Kasson, MN. He served in the Air Force from 1955-1959. After serving in the service he worked 3 years at Water's Conley. In 1964 he moved to Hobart, IN and worked for Bethlehem Steel. Keith and his family moved back to Minnesota in 1970, and was a brick layer for Larry Brooks, and K & W Masonry. Later he worked with Donaldson Pipeline. He retired in 2006. Keith enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting coins, guns, cruising the back roads and listening to old time country music, and he loved his dog, Molly.
Keith was united in marriage to Eileen M. Weatherly on December 14, 1958, at First Congregational Church in Mantorville.
Keith is survived by his four daughters, Dawn (David Dvorak) Fate, Waltham, MN; Lori (Edward) Skime, Kasson, MN; Lynn Wytaske, Wasioja, MN; and Vicky (Russell) Skogen, Kasson, MN; 17 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; brother Alton "Kent" (Jane) Anderson, Kasson, MN; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Eileen Anderson in 2012; one son, Kevin; one grandson, Dustin; one son-in-law, Timothy Fate; and one great-grandson, BradDock Earl. Memorials are preferred to the family.
The funeral service for Keith Robert Anderson will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at First Congregational Church, 515 Walnut Street, in Mantorville, with Reverend Brian Egelston officiating. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery in Wasioja, MN. A visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, July 13, 2015 at the church, with visitation one hour before the service on Tuesday.
