Kevin Bruce Kracht

Kevin Bruce Kracht, 63, of Rochester, MN passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2021, in Rochester, MN.

Kevin was born on April 28, 1958, in Rochester, MN to Harold and Norma (Kramer) Kracht.  After high school he worked various jobs, attended college, and was able to travel.  He eventually moved back to Rochester and started bartending at the Kahler Hotel.  He bartended there for 37 years, retiring in 2017.  He loved to tell stories of the various and interesting people he met while working at the Kahler, he loved to be involved with people.

Kevin enjoyed telling stories of growing up on the farm and their home.   He loved the outdoors and nature, especially deer hunting and trout fishing with his friends.  He loved all animals and his pets.  Kevin was very artistic and would draw and sketch in his free time.  He had a kind and loving soul, a beautiful smile and wonderful laugh.  “I love you my dear little brother, God bless you, rest in peace” love your sister, Marilyn.

Kevin is survived by his siblings, Bennett (Judy) Kracht of Rochester, MN, Jeffrey (Barb) Kracht of Pine Island, MN, and Marilyn (Lynn) Musolf of Byron, MN; nieces and nephews, Derick (Lisa) Strain of Rochester, MN, Darin Strain of Rochester, MN and Kimberly (Dave) Talbot of Buffalo, MN; great nieces and nephews; and Doug’s fiancé, Becky Schletty of Mantorville, MN.

He was preceded in death by most recently a brother, Doug Kracht; 2 sisters, Linda Strain and Carole Ewing; brother-in-law, Bill Ewing; and his parents.

A visitation will be held on Monday, July 12, 2021, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Czaplewski Family Funeral Homes, 801 7 ^th Street SE Kasson, MN.  A private family burial will be held at a later date in Maple Grove Cemetery in Kasson, MN.
