The memorial service for Kristi Kay Carlson will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2009, at Faith Lutheran Church, 308 2nd Street NW, with Reverend Justin Boeding officiating.
Kristi Kay Carlson, 47, of Rochester, MN died Friday evening, November 6, 2009, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, MN.
Kristi Kay Carlson was born on December 16, 1961, the daughter of Don and Evonne (Wang) Carlson in Faribault, MN. She attended Faribault and Dodge Center Schools and graduated from Dodge Center High School. Kristi attend Vo-Tech in Mankato for nurses training and worked for several nursing homes. She enjoyed reading, solitaire, TV Comedy Shows, and spending time with her son.
Kristi is survived by her parents, Don and Evonne Carlson, Dodge Center, MN; her son, Guy Don Carlson, Dodge Center; sister, Donna (Corey) Schmidt, nieces, Katherine and Elizabeth Schmidt, Henderson, NV; and brother, Chad (Peggy) Carlson, Dodge Center, MN. She was preceded in death by her brother, Terry Carlson.
Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church in Dodge Center. Czaplewski Family Funeral Home in Dodge Center assisted with arrangements. The family prefers memorials in lieu of flowers.
