Linda Kay Bowman

Linda Kay Bowman, 65, of Dodge Center, MN passed away peacefully with her children by her side on Monday, October 11, 2021, at Mayo Clinic St. Mary’s Campus in Rochester, MN.

Linda was born on June 8, 1956, in Dodge Center, MN to Donald and Barbara (Bartel) Jensen.  She graduated from Dodge Center High School in 1974.   On November 29, 1975, she married John Bowman and together they had three children, Heather, Jessica, and Jon. Linda worked for Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN for 35 years, retiring in 2014.   She enjoyed traveling, gardening, crocheting, cooking, canning, and attending her grandchildren’s events.

Linda is survived by her children, Heather Bowman (Tracy Monson) of Dodge Center, MN, Jessica (Adam) Noble of Dodge Center, MN and Jon (Makenzee) Bowman of Rochester, MN; six grandchildren, Jacob Monson of Dodge Center, MN, Elliot and Easton Noble of Dodge Center, MN, Coy, Grace and Layke Bowman of Rochester, MN; mother, Barbara Jensen of Dodge Center, MN; mother-in-law, Shirley Bowman of Dodge Center, MN; siblings, Debra (Charles) Johnson of Dodge Center, MN, Julie (Robert) Bowman of Dodge Center, MN, David (Charles) Jensen of Ponce de Leon, FL, Bonnie Jensen of Dodge Center, MN, Korina (Jay) Osborn of Afton, MN, Dale (Tamara) Jensen of Dodge Center, MN, Darrin Jensen of Dodge Center, MN, Dallas (Barbara) Jensen of Dodge Center, MN and Dennis (Naomi) Jensen of Dodge Center, MN; brother-in-law, Tom Bowman of Dodge Center and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by husband, John Bowman; grandson, Isaac Monson; her father, Donald Jensen; infant brother, Daniel; father-in-law, Earl Bowman and sisters-in-laws, Joanne Wetzstein and June Bowman.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 18, 2021, at United Methodist Church, 20 1st St NE in Dodge Center, with Reverend Chad Christensen officiating.  Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday, October 17, 2021, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Homes, 25 South St SW in Dodge Center and one hour prior to the service at the church.  Burial will be held at a later date in Riverside Cemetery in Dodge Center, MN.
