LLOYD (DIGGER) HAROLD JOHNSON

The memorial service for Lloyd (Digger) Harold Johnson will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 13, 2013, at St. John's Lutheran Church 301~8th Avenue NW in Kasson, MN with Reverend Randy Fett officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church on Friday.

Lloyd Harold Johnson, 80, passed away at his home in Dodge Center on September 7, 2013. He was diagnosed with colon, lung, liver and bone cancer stage four on June 4th, 2013.

Lloyd was born on July 18, 1933, the son of Carl and Madelyn (O'Connor) Johnson in West Concord, MN.

Lloyd was united in marriage to Clarice Eggert on April 21, 1962.

He was a construction worker. He enjoyed driving around looking at construction being done, taking pictures, going to cheap Charlie's for breakfast, and spending time with his family. Lloyd enjoyed sitting outside with friends and going for coffee every morning.

Lloyd is survived by his wife, Clarice Johnson, Kasson, MN; son, Terry (Margaret) Johnson, Dodge Center, MN; three granddaughters, Tiffany Trahan, Dodge Center, MN; Tera Johnson, Brownsdale, MN; Alexis Johnson, Austin, MN; one step grandson, John Moe, Rochester, MN; two great grandchildren, Brennon Hanenberger and Larissa Vagt, both of Dodge Center, MN; two step great grandchildren, Ian Borgschatz, Zumbrota, MN; and Chetan Kramer, Hayfield, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Cecil, Glenn, Francis, and Lionel Johnson and two sisters, Norma and Doris.

Czaplewski Family Funeral Home in Dodge Center assisted with arrangements.
