LOGAN MATTHEW

Logan Matthew Maas, 18, of Dodge Center died Friday afternoon, as the result of an automobile accident. Logan was born on June 17, 1997, weighing two pounds eleven ounces and battled his way courageously into the life of his parents, Matt and Julie. Logan was a senior at Triton High School, involved with BPA, choir, and various sporting activities. He was very involved in his community. Logan was fun loving, had a huge heart, and was always caring for and helping others. He could put a smile on everyone’s face. Logan always lived every day to the fullest and he was very passionate about the Dodge Center Fire Department, and enjoyed hunting.
Logan is survived by his parents, Matt and Julie Maas of Dodge Center; sister, Mariah (Alan Wedrickas) Maas, and brother, Dylan Maas, paternal grandparents, Leo and Penny Maas of Claremont; and aunts and uncles, Ann and Jim Trihey of Mantorville; Mark Maas of Claremont; Kate (Boe) Niles of Northfield; and Randy and Natasha Niles of Kasson. He is also survived by several cousins and countless friends and loved ones.
Memorial service will be held Tuesday, December 22, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 308 2nd Street NW in Dodge Center with Reverend Barbara Streed officiating. Visitation will be Monday, December 21, 2015, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Home, 25 South Street SW in Dodge Center from 3:00-8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the church.
