LOIS RUTH JOHNSON

Lois Ruth Johnson, 93, of Hayfield passed away on November 18, 2018, at Mayo Clinic St. Mary’s Campus in Rochester.

Lois was born on November 19, 1924, in Dodge County, the daughter of August and Alma (Lee) Eggert. Lois attended country school. She was united in marriage to Gordon Johnson. Lois was a homemaker and worked for Dodge Center canning factory for a few years. She enjoyed camping, fishing, bingo, playing cards, making lefsa, and enjoyed family gatherings.

Lois is survived by her children, Larry Hegna, Kasson, MN; Linda (Louie) Beede, Owatonna, MN; Leonard Johnson, Kasson, MN; Debra (August) Schumm, LeCenter, MN; Danny (Kathy) Johnson, Waltham, MN; Bruce (Amy) Johnson, Kasson, MN; 14 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, three sisters, one brother, one granddaughter and one infant brother.

The funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 104 1 ^st Street SE in Hayfield with Reverend Paul Hauschild officiating. Visitation will be on hour before the service at the church on Wednesday. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Hayfield.
