LOUISE KATHERINE EICH

The funeral mass for Louise Katherine Eich will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 13, 2010, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hayfield, MN with Reverend Douglas Gits celebrating. Interment will be at Saint Columbanus Cemetery in Blooming Prairie, MN on Friday.
Louise Katherine Eich, 98, died Monday, morning August 9, 2010, at her home in Hayfield, MN.
Louise Katherine Buelt was born on August 29, 1911, in Roselle, IA, the daughter of Theodore and Emma (Soppe) Buelt. She attended school at Holy Angels School in Roselle, IA. She was united in marriage to William Eich on January 20, 1932, in Roselle, IA. Louise and her husband farmed in Templeton, IA, Roselle, IA and Blooming Prairie, MN. Louise was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hayfield and served on the Sacred Heart Council of Catholic Women. She had worked as housekeeper at Field Crest Care Center. Louise enjoyed her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren,great-great grandchildren and crocheting.
Louise is survived by her children, Darlene (William) Timmerman, Rochester, MN; Virginia Hoffmann, Osakis, MN; Dennis (Lorraine) Eich, Houston, MN; Lynn (Mary) Eich, Preston, MN; LuAnn (James) Hahn, Fairmont, MN; Sandra Johnson, Hayfield, MN; 32 grandchildren, 62 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; one brother, Eugene (Marie) Buelt, Crescent, IA; and one sister, Bernice Hinz, Fonda, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William A. Eich; one daughter, Marilyn Eich; two sons, LaVern and Eugene Eich, 2 grandsons, Anthony Johnson and Alan Hoffman, and son-in-law, Dale Hoffman.
Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 12, 2010, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Home in Hayfield and one hour before the service at the church on Friday.
