LOWELL BLAIR KLINEPIER

Lowell Blair Klinepier,  83, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018, at Fairview Care Center in Dodge Center, MN.

Lowell Blair Klinepier was born on July 20, 1934, on the home farm in Mantorville, MN. He graduated from Mantorville High School in 1952. After graduation he went into the Army for four years. Lowell was united in marriage to Marlene Moen on June 13, 1959, at South Zumbro Lutheran Church. Lowell worked for Tripp Construction in Mantorville and later worked for Doyle and Connor Construction in Rochester, MN. He also farmed during his years of working on construction. Lowell retired from farming the fall of 2013. He also enjoyed going to tractor shows and camping.

Lowell is survived by his wife, Marlene Klinepier and nephew, Greg, Mantorville, MN; one sister, Kathern Ann (Jerry) Bodelson, Mankato, MN; and other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, as well as his brother-in-law, Allen Moen, father-in-law, Efiram Moen, and his mother-in-law, Ruby Moen.

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, May 11, 2018, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Home, 801 ~ 7th Street SE in Kasson, MN and one hour before the service at the church on Saturday.

The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2018, at the First Congregational Church, 515 Walnut Street in Mantorville, MN with Revered Brian Egelston officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Mantorville with military honors by the Hayfield American Legion Rothie Post #330.
