The funeral service for Lynn Leon Felty will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 10, 2008 at the Czaplewski Family Funeral Home in Hayfield, MN with Reverend Jerry Harris officiating. Interment will be in Waltham Township Cemetery in rural Sargeant, MN with military honors by the Hayfield American Legion Post #330.
Lynn Leon Felty, 76, died Thursday evening, November 6, 2008, at Field Crest Care Center in Hayfield, MN.
Lynn was born on October 20, 1932, the son of Russell and Hattie (Blake) Felty in Waltham, MN. He attended Waltham Country Grade Schools. Lynn served in the United States Air Force from 1952 until 1960. He married Jean Hinze on November 22, 1963, in Spring Valley, MN. Lynn worked for St. Mary’s from 1963, until he retired in 1994. He enjoyed helping people, reading, and listening to Christian Music.
Lynn is survived by his wife, Jean Felty, Hayfield, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Russell Lynn Felty, two brothers, Ervin and Walter Felty.
Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Monday, November 10, 2008 at the Czaplewski Family Funeral Home in Hayfield.
