MARGARET (PEGGY) LEONE ADAMS
The funeral service for Margaret (Peggy) Leone Adams will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at St. John's Lutheran Church 301 ~ 8th Avenue NW, Kasson, MN with Reverend Barbara Streed officiating. Interment will be in Preston Veteran's Cemetery in Preston, Minnesota.
Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2015, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Home 25, South Street SW in Dodge Center, MN and one hour before the service at the church on Wednesday.
Margaret (Peggy) Leone Adams, 78, passed away on Saturday morning, December 26, 2015, at Field Crest Care Center in Hayfield, MN.
Margaret (Peggy) was born on April 21, 1937, the daughter of George O. and (Mary Frances West) Beach in Sioux City, IA.
Peggy graduated from Albert Lea High School. She was an unit secretary at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester for 19 years. Peggy was a member of the Eastern Star for over 50 years, member of the Red Hats Club; Daughter of the American Revolution and many other organizations. She enjoyed flowers, ceramics and crafting.
Peggy is survived by her husband, Edgar Adams, Dodge Center, MN; children, Steven (Betty) Friedman, Albert Lea, MN; Susan Friedman, Albert Lea, MN; Karen (Gary) Hellmers, West Concord, MN; two grandchildren, Matthew and Rachel Friedman; and sister, Mary Lou Fitch, Clear Lake, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents and one infant brother. Family prefers memorials to St. John's Lutheran Church or the Rochester Eastern Star.
