The funeral service for Margaret Ruth Boeke, 97, of Claremont, MN will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 20, 2011, at the First Presbyterian Church, in Claremont with Reverend Clint Patterson officiating. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery in Claremont, MN.
Margaret Ruth Boeke, 97, of Claremont, MN, passed away on Friday morning, October 14, 2011, at Field Crest Care Center in Hayfield, MN.
Margaret Ruth Dostal was born on November 8, 1913, the daughter of John and Josephine (Jirouski) Dostal in Steele County, MN. Margaret was united in marriage to Arthur F. Boeke on December 11, 1931, in Yuma, Arizona. She farmed with her husband in the Claremont area for over 60 years. Margaret was a member of Jolly Friends Club, Helping Hand Club, and enjoyed traveling, gardening, and crafts.
Margaret is survived by one daughter, Nadine (Robert) Aakre, Rochester, MN; two sons, James Boeke, Baton Rouge LA; Steve Boeke, Claremont, MN; 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and three great grandchildren; two brothers, Wencl (Marion) Dostal, Owatonna, MN; and Donald (Loraine) Dostal, West Concord, MN. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter, one grandson, three sisters, and two brothers.
Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 19, 2011, at the Czaplewski Family Funeral Home, 110 West Main Street in Dodge Center and one hour before the service at the church on Thursday. The family prefers memorials to the First Presbyterian Church or Claremont Fire Department.
