MARGARET AGNES HINTZ
The Funeral service for Margaret Agnes Hintz will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2009, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Havana Township, Steele Co. MN with the Rev. Keith Meyer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Margaret Agnes (Huemoeller) Hintz, age 94, of Red Wing, MN died April 17, 2009, at St. Brigid’s at Hi-Park Care Center in Red Wing, MN.
Margaret was born December 8, 1914, in Glyndon, MN, the daughter of Gustav and Reka (Miller) Huemoeller. Margaret married Carl Hintz on May 8, 1932, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Havana Township. The couple farmed in Havana Township for many years. Margaret also resided in Owatonna, Claremont, and Dodge Center, Minnesota and was employed by Steele County Implement, Owatonna Canning Company, and Owatonna Manufacturing Company, before moving to Red Wing in 2005.
Margaret is survived by her daughter, Virginia Schramm of Phoenix, AZ; and sons, Sherwin (Ligia) Hintz of Dodge Center, MN; George (Rose) Hintz of Red Wing, MN; 12 grandchildren, Robin Diercks, Steven Schramm, Devon Lewis, Nathan (Bess) Schramm, Kimberly Tahini, Gwen Sell, Heidi (Bill) Bryan, Amy Hintz, Tony (Melissa) Hintz, Troy (Jackie) Hintz, Tod Hintz, and David (Melanie) Hintz; 17 great grandchildren: Jessica (Jesse) Vold, Tarik Tahini, Tiffany (Nathan) Jaeger, Rabiah Tahini, Adrienne (Josh) Hanson, Halie Bryan, David Miller, Maxwell Schramm, McKenzie Bryan, Jacob Schramm, Madison Bryan, Katelyn Hadler, Dylan Hadler, Sophia Hintz, Valerie Hintz, Ashlyn Hintz and Ella Hintz.
4 great-great grandchildren; Kaylie and Jack Vold, Beau and Bella Jaeger. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl; infant son, Carl, two sisters and four brothers.
Friends may call one hour before the service at the church on Tuesday. Czaplewski Family Funeral Home in Dodge Center is in charge of arrangements.
