MARIAN NADINE STAFFORD
The funeral service for Marian Nadine Stafford will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, November 8th, 2008, at the First Congregational Church with the interim Pastor Gary Titusdahl officiating. Interment will follow the service at the Wildwood Cemetery in Wasioja, Minn. Mrs. Stafford, 86, passed peacefully in her sleep Monday (November 3rd, 2008), at her home in Kasson.
Marian Nadine Palmer was born on August 8th, 1922 in rural Dodge County to Owen and Angeline (Osborn) Palmer. She graduated from Mantorville Public Schools in the spring of 1941. On Dec. 24th, 1940 she married Kyle Stafford in Norwood, Iowa. She was a homemaker and assisted her husband in operating their lumber business and farm west of Dodge Center. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, gardening, spending winters in Texas, spending time with her family, and was active in her church.
Survivors include two daughters, Bonnie (Joe) Henkel of Georgetown, Texas, and Betty (Doug) Blood of Springfield, Ore; two sons, Mark ( Nancy) of Ramsey, Minn. and Marvin (Dee Dee) of Dodge Center, Minn.; 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Kyle, a daughter, Maxine, a brother, Clinton and a sister, Eva.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 7th at the First Congregational Church from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Dodge Center and one hour prior to the funeral service Saturday. Memorials are preferred to the First Congregational Church in Dodge Center.
Czaplewski Family Funeral Home in Dodge Center is in charge of arrangements.
