MARILYN NORA SKOGEN
Marilyn N. Skogen, age 58, of Dodge Center, MN, died unexpectedly on Sunday, April 10, 2016, at her home from heart disease. A visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 14, 2016, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Homes in Dodge Center. The inurnment will be in Evergreen Cemetery at a later date. Memorials are preferred to the family. Marilyn Nora Skogen was born on August 10, 1957, in Dodge Center, to Elmer and Eleanor (Crandall) Skogen. Marilyn graduated from Kasson- Mantorville High School in 1975. She began working for the Dodge County Sheriff's Department in 1977 as a dispatcher and later in the records. Marilyn retired in 2011, to care for her parents. She was a wonderful sister and aunt, and those who loved her called her "Mimi". Marilyn enjoyed watching movies, shopping, spending time with her family and cat, Holly.
Marilyn is survived by her siblings, Oscar (Cathy) Skogen of Dodge Center, Minnesota; Russell (Vicky) Skogen of Kasson, Minnesota; and Debra (Dennis) Rodgers of La Luz, New Mexico; eight nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and nephews.
