The funeral service for Marilyn Veverly Thielen will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Home, 25 South Street SW in Dodge Center, MN with Father Thien Nguyen officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service on Tuesday. Interment will be in Crystal Lake Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN at a later date.
Marilyn Veverly Thielen, 73, passed away on February 28, 2016, at Mayo Clinic Hospital St. Mary's Campus, Rochester, MN.
Marilyn was born on March 16, 1942, the daughter of Robert and Beverly (Trowbridge) Miller in Minneapolis, MN. She attended school in Osseo, MN. Marilyn was a business owner of several businesses including, Kasson Carpet for 15 years. Marilyn was very involved with her children and grand children. She enjoyed dancing, swimming, summer activities, and most of all watching her grandchildren, Amanda, Chelsea, Shane, and Lanie's sporting events.
Marilyn is survived by her sons, Chris Thielen, Blaine, MN; Robert (Shelly) Thielen, Monticello, MN; and daughter, Nicole Thielen, Dodge Center, MN; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and one sister, Gerri (Jim) Lang, Maple Grove, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Jean Styer.
