Mark William Gauerke

MARK WILLIAM GAUERKE
Mark William Gauerke, aged 55, died peacefully at his home in Dodge Center on Wednesday, September 30, 2015.
Mark was born on November 7, 1959, in Owatonna, MN to Myrten and Mildred (Barwald) Gauerke. He graduated from Dodge Center High School in 1978.
He married Mary Stellick in 1980; they made their home in Caledonia, MN. Together they had a son, William Wyatt (May 31st, 1982). They later divorced.
Mark returned home to Dodge Center to run the family business, which he expanded into a small chain of video stores across the state. Mark had a great deal of passions, including training dogs, raising angelfish and a love for blues music. He also collected coins and antiques and was an avid Minnesota sports fan.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Mary. He is survived by his son, William from Bismarck, N.D.
Services will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at the Czaplewski Funeral Home, 25 South Street SW in Dodge Center.
