MARK LEONARD HOFFMANN
Mark Leonard Hoffmann, 63, of Dodge Center, MN passed away at his home on December 26, 2016.
Mark was born on May 15, 1953, the son of Donald and Hazel (Voll) Hoffmann in Hayfield, MN. He graduated from Dodge Center High School in 1972. Mark served in the U.S. Army from 1972-1975. He worked under IBEW Union and was a member for 35 years. He was married to Jayne Gilliland and they were later divorced. Mark enjoyed sports, fishing, and watching the Vikings.
Mark is survived by his son, Eric (Jodi) Hoffmann, Denham, Springs, LA; daughter, Hillary (Cody) Laue, Dodge Center, MN; 5 grandchildren, Peyton, Harper, Pierson, Jaycelin, and Grant; siblings, Don (Sue) Hoffmann, Hastings, MN; Sharon (Jim) Hilfers, Eveleth, MN; Jim (Pat) Hoffmann, Owatonna, MN; Diane (Brian) Hayes, Palm City, FL; and Linda (Ray) Beamer, Cascade, CO. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Shirley Hamlin and Mike Hoffmann.
Visitation will be from 11:00-1:30 p.m. Saturday, December 31, 2016, at the Czaplewski Family Funeral Home, 25 South Street SW in Dodge Center. A prayer service will be at 1:15 p.m. with Reverend Barbara Streed officiating. Inurnment will be in the Hoffmann Cemetery in Owatonna, MN with Military honors by the Steele County Funeral Honor Guard.
