Mathew Mark Kleeberger

Mathew “Matt” Mark Kleeberger, 66, of Kasson, MN passed away on Thursday, June 17, 2021, at Mayo Clinic St. Mary’s Campus in Rochester, MN.

Matt was born on May 23, 1955, in Northfield, MN to Maynard and Marion (Hall) Kleeberger.  He graduated from Kasson-Mantorville high school in 1973.  He then went on to receive his heavy equipment technician degree from Dakota County Technical college.  He worked for over 20 years in that field and went on to become a Volvo master technician. On June 11, 1977, he married Nancy Jensen at Pleasant Corners Methodist Church.

Matt enjoyed fishing and camping, 4 wheeling, grilling, and collecting construction equipment toys.

Matt is survived by his wife, Nancy Kleeberger of Kasson, MN; children, Shianne (Bracy) Bahm of Pine Island, MN and Katie Kleeberger of Rochester, MN; and brother, Steve (Barbara) Kleeberger of Bemidji, MN; and special nephew, Tye (Lisa) Kleeberger and their son, Abel of Pine Island, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, William “Bill”, Timothy “Tim”, and Jeremy “Jerry”.

A memorial service will be at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at Kasson United Methodist Church, 801 5 ^th Ave NW Kasson, MN with Reverend Clint Patterson officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, June 21, 2021, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Homes, 801 7 ^th St SE Kasson, MN and one hour prior to the service at the church.

The family of Mathew would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Mayo Clinic NE Dialysis Clinic and the ICU staff at Mayo Clinic Mary Brigh 7 for all of your wonderful care.
