MERDIS LOZETTA DAHLE

The funeral service for Merdis Lozetta Dahle will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 1, 2014, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 104 1st Street SE, Hayfield, MN with Reverend Paul Hauschild officiating.

Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Hayfield in the spring.

Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, January 31, 2014, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Home 501 2nd Street NW in Hayfield and one hour before the service on Saturday.

Merdis Lozetta Dahle, 93, a long time resident of Hayfield and Waltham, MN, passed away on January 25, 2014, at Pathstone Living in Mankato, MN.

Merdis Lozetta was born the daughter of Nicolai and Mathilda (Olson) Ohnstad in Steele County, MN. She was united in marriage to Harley Dahle on December 7, 1947, in Owatonna, MN. Merdis was a homemaker and farm wife. She enjoyed reading, sewing, and crafts. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Helping Hand Club. Merdis was active in her church and Ladies Aid.

Merdis is survived by her son, Willard (Diane) Dahle, Waltham, MN; daughters, Vera (Henry) Lacaze, Fremont, CA; Susan (David, deceased) Osburn, Fredericksburg, TX; Lori (Ronald) Duehlmeyer, Mankato, MN; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and one sister, Deanna (Robert) Koch, Downey, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 1996, and six brothers.
