A Funeral Mass for Michael Jacob Donnay will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 11, 2009, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in West Concord with Reverend Kurt Farrel celebrating. Interment will be in St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Cemetery in West Concord.
Michael Jacob Donnay, 24, of Dodge Center, MN died December 7, 2009, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN.
Michael Jacob Donnay was born on December 19, 1984, in Rochester, MN the son of Dr. Paul and Cynthia (Cotriss) Donnay in Rochester, MN. Michael graduated from Triton High School in 2003, and attended Riverland Technical College in Austin, MN. He trained and worked as an auto mechanic and recently as a carpenter for Bigelow Builders in Kasson. Michael enjoyed the outdoors, music, working on cars and being with his daughter, Emma.
Michael is survived by his daughter, Emma Grace Donnay, Pemberton, MN; parents, Dr. Paul and Cynthia Donnay, Dodge Center, MN; two sisters, Rebecca Donnay, Arnold, MD; Catherine Donnay, St. Paul, MN; one brother, Robert (Diane) Donnay, St. Louis, MO; two nephews, Colin and Andrew Donnay, St. Louis, MO; and maternal grandfather, Albert Cotriss, Arnold, MD. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and maternal grandmother.
Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 10, 2009, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Home 110 West Main Street in Dodge Center and one hour before the service at the church on Friday.
