MICHAEL DEL PERRIGO

Michael Del Perrigo, 47, of Hayfield, MN died Thursday morning, February 9, 2012 at Rochester Methodist Hospital.

Mike was born March 8, 1964, in Dodge Center, MN the son of Lonnie and Rena (Skjeveland) Perrigo. He grew up on the family farm near Sargeant, MN. He graduated from Hayfield High School in 1982. Mike married Patty Stoelk in 1984, and they had two sons. He was a member of Zion United Methodist Church of Sargeant, MN.

Mike was an independent truck driver for MacFarland Trucking of Austin, MN. He loved farming and worked part time Walerak Farms for 24 years. Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, snowmobiling, cribbage, and card club. He also enjoyed playing volley ball, soft ball and driving around at dusk looking for deer.

Mike is survived by his wife, Patty; two sons, Bradey (Teresa) Perrigo, Hayfield, MN; Jacob (Arianna Bender) Perrigo, Kasson, MN; mother, Rena Perrigo, Brownsdale, MN; sisters, Dennice (Randy) Canaday, Rapid City, SD; Angie (Doug) Kiser, Sargeant, MN; Lisa (Scott) Jorgenson, Hayfield, MN; father and mother-in-law, Chuck and Judy Stoelk; brother-in-law, David Stoelk; sisters-in-law, Carrie (Mark) Wiltgen; Tera (Steve) Jorgenson, all of Hayfield, MN; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Lonnie Perrigo; maternal and paternal grandparents.
The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to Dr. Stephen Ansell, and the staff of Charlton 9, LA, RMH Stations, 9-3, 9-4, 10-3, Gonda 10E, Nephrology and all others who cared for Mike. He will be sadly missed by all.

Friends may call from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, February 13, 2012, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Home, 501 2nd Street NW in Hayfield, MN and one hour before the service at the church.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2012, at Zion United Methodist Church, 201 East Main Street, Sargeant, MN with Pastor Sharon Goetzinger officiating. His ashes will be interred at a later date.
