Muriel H. Weber, 77, of Mantorville, MN passed away peacefully on April 22, 2021 at the Mayo Clinic Saint Mary’s Campus in Rochester, MN.
Muriel was born November 14, 1943 to Hazel (Mickow) and Gordon Haas in Lake City, MN. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1961 and then attended North West Institute of Medical Technique Minneapolis, graduating in 1963. After graduation, she worked as a lab tech at St. Johns Hospital in Red Wing for 28 years. She then worked at the Owatonna Clinic until 2000.
Muriel married Luke M. Nash on September 28, 1963 in Lake City, MN. After Luke’s passing in 1986, she met and married William (Bill) Weber on June 30, 1990.
Muriel loved spending time with her family and was especially proud of her grandchildren. She enjoyed watching the hummingbirds and other birds on her deck. She also enjoyed attending church services at Holy Family Catholic Church with coffee and donuts afterwards, mowing her lawn, purse bingo, and occasional trips to the casino.
Muriel was a member of the American Society of Clinical Labs and the American Legion Auxiliary Post 333 of Kasson, MN.
She is survived by her daughter Jody Nash, son Scott Nash, daughter-in-law Lynnette Nash and her two grandchildren Alexa Nash and Luke B. Nash, as well as 4 step grandchildren, 3 step great grandchildren, brother-in-law Jim Nash, sister-in-laws Mary Nash and Linda Brunkhoist and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Muriel was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Luke M. Nash and William (Bill) Weber, her sisters Darlene (Dar) Nash, Bonita (Bonnie) Olson, brother Carl Haas and her son Luke G. Nash.
A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1904 Mantorville Ave N Kasson, MN, with Father John Lasuba officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 26, 2021 at Czaplewski Family Funeral Homes, 801 7th St SE in Kasson, and one hour prior to the service at the church. The Rosary will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, followed by the Vigil Rite. Inurnment will be in St. Margaret cemetery in Mantorville, MN with a luncheon to follow at Holy Family Catholic Church.
