Myrtle Marie Burke

Myrtle Marie Burke, 90, of Austin, MN passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at Good Samaritan Society Comforcare in Austin, MN.

Myrtle was born on March 17, 1935, in Hollandale, MN to Joseph and Zelma (Filley) Wradislavsky. She attended country school and then attended Dodge Center High School. She was united in marriage to Franklin Burke. She enjoyed gardening, canning, baking, baking bread, raising her chickens, and babysitting.

Myrtle was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Zelma; and her husband, Franklin.

She is survived by her son, Merton Burke; siblings, Uldene Kraling, Julie Engle, and David Wradislavsky.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Homes, 501 2nd ST NW in Hayfield, MN with Pastor Kristen Anderson officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, April 28, 2025, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Homes, 501 2nd St NW in Hayfield and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Tuesday. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Hayfield, MN.
