The funeral service for Nancy Lou Foster will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at the United Methodist Church, 20 1st Street NE in Dodge Center, MN. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church on Wednesday. Interment will be in Wildwood Cemetery in Wasioja, MN.
Nancy Lou Foster, 74, passed away on February 28, 2016, at her sister's home in Dodge Center.
Nancy was born on March 30, 1941, the daughter of Melvin and Fern (Crandall) Foster in Dodge County, Minnesota. She had resided in Wasioja, Kasson and Dodge Center. Nancy worked for Federated Mutual Insurance Co. for 22 years, at Dison's Dry Cleaners, Tempo, IBM for 22 years, and was secretary for the United Methodist Church. Nancy retired from IBM in 2010.
Nancy is survived by her sisters, Barbara Bennett, Dodge Center, MN; Bonnie (Tom) O'Connor, Rochester, MN; brother, Roger (Kay) Foster, Charleston, RI; nephew, Terry (Lynn) Bennett and family; and friend, Earl Schwartz.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Czaplewski Family Funeral Home, 25 South Street SW in Dodge Center assisted with arrangements.
