The memorial service for Patricia Rae Schandorff will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 7, 2010, at St. John's Lutheran Church, 301 8th Avenue NW, Kasson, MN with Reverend Chris Brekke officiating. Inurnment will be in Wildwood Cemetery in Wasioja, MN.
Patricia Rae Schandorff, 70, died Saturday morning, October 2, 2010, at her home in Dodge Center, MN.
Patricia Rae Rich was born on September 8, 1940, in Martin County, MN the daughter of Franklin and Lucille (Klomp) Rich. She attended Fairmont and Rochester schools. Patricia was united in marriage to Claude (Red) Schandorff on December 30, 1961, in Northwood, IA. She was employed at AMPI and Textile Care in Rochester and had her own daycare for 10 years in Dodge Center. Later she was a cook at Triton High School. Patricia enjoyed fishing, traveling, collecting salt and pepper shakers, and bird houses.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Claude (Red) Schandorff, Dodge Center, one daughter, Kari (Kenny) Trahan, West Concord, MN; three sons, Kevin (Kim) Schandorff, Mantorville, MN; Kyle Schandorff, Hayfield, MN; Keith (Heather) Schandorff, West Concord, MN; step father, Levern Hanson, Mantorville, MN; step sisters, JoAnn Smith, Springfield, OR; Sharon Giesler, Lincoln, NE; Karen (Allan) Haugen, Lanesboro, MN; twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother.
Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 6, 2010, at the Czaplewski Family Funeral Home, 110 West Main Street in Dodge Center and one hour before the service at the church on Thursday.
