PEGGY ANN PESCH
The funeral service for Peggy Ann Pesch will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 1, 2008, at Trinity Lutheran Church in rural Waltham, MN with Reverend Jeffrey Kuddes officiating. Interment will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, rural Waltham.
Peggy Ann Pesch died November 25, 2008, at Methodist Hospital in Rochester, MN.
Peggy Ann Pesch, 72, was born on February 20, 1936, the daughter of Lynn and Elma (Howard) Persinger in Sac City, Iowa. She graduated from Austin High School. Peggy worked for as a clerk for the postal system in Dexter, Brownsdale, Sargeant, and Waltham. She was united in marriage to Norman Pesch on August 2, 1959, at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church. She enjoyed traveling with friends, casinos, and watching grandchildren’s activities. Peggy was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Ladies Aid, and a Birthday Club.
Peggy is survived by two daughters, Jodi (Kelly) Fitzgerald, Sargeant, MN; Amy (Ray) Jacobson, Stewartville, MN; two sons, Craig (Debra) Pesch, Hayfield, MN; David (Candace) Pesch, Albert Lea, MN; 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; two brothers, Lynn (Carol) Persinger, Austin, MN; Gary (Maggie) Persinger, Lakewood, CO; two sisters, Shirley (Delmar) Harvey, Ocala, FL; and Mary (David) Hoeft, Rochester, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Norman in 2004; 2 sisters and 1 brother.
Visitation will be 3:00-6:00 p.m. November 30, 2008, at the Czaplewski Family Funeral Home in Hayfield and one hour before the service a the church on Monday. The family prefers memorials to the multiple myeloma society.
