RICHARD HARLON JOHNSON

There will be a private family service for Richard Harlon Johnson on 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 8, 2012, at Johnson's Pheasants For Ever on County Road 12, Dodge Center, MN with Reverend Dean Gunn officiating.
Richard Harlon Johnson, 67, passed away on Good Friday, April 6, 2012, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN.
Richard Harlon Johnson was born on March 21, 1945, the son of Raymond H. and (Evelyn Gibbons) Johnson in Owatonna, MN. Richard attended High School in Dodge Center and served in the United States Army from 1963-1966. He was united in marriage to Nancy Rowe on September 28, 1969, at the Faith Lutheran Church in Dodge Center. He was a part time farmer with his father for eleven years and was a welder at Cybex in Owatonna and retired in 2007. Richard was an avid hunter, fisherman and dearly loved his grandchildren and his dog, Missy.
Richard is survived by his wife, Nancy J. Johnson, Dodge Center, MN; children, Greg E. Johnson, Owatonna, MN; Dallas D. (Jody) Johnson, Sargeant, MN; Danver Lee Johnson, Dodge Center, MN; Shane R.A. (Shannon) Johnson, Byron, MN; eight and one half grandchildren; two brothers, Rodney R. (Dee) Johnson, Maple Grove, MN; and Dwayne (Linda) Johnson, Visalia, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family prefers no flowers. May you now be at peace.
